Where is home?

Is it really where the heart is? A place of security? Is it more than bricks and mortar – or a place to indulge our creativity for shabby chic or clean white lines, with a hint of Farrow and Ball paintwork?

Don’t get me wrong, I love all of this interior design stuff, but it’s not ‘home’ for me in the truest sense of the word.

So where is home? Well, I’m discovering that it’s more about Who than what or where. We sometimes use the word ‘refuge’ when speaking of a place, and for many it can be, but ultimately I have to give thanks that my refuge is found here
